RamSeal was developed out of necessity.  We bought a Generation 5 Ram with the RamBox's and had a Tonneau cover installed as part of the purchase.

After delivery, we noticed that there were gaps on the sides of the tonneau cover at the tailgate that allowed dirt, snow and water in the bed that should have been sealed. It was on previous generations.

We tried to get FCA to address this design issue but they refused to acknowledge it, after 3 years of customer support, FCA got behind our product and made us an officially licensed product!.

At that point, we took it upon ourselves to create a solution for ourselves and fellow RAM owners. Using our engineering background, we set upon a design solution that we spent 2 years, with multiple versions being tested until we got one that sealed reliably.

You ask how we knew it sealed? Well, in December of 2021, there were the massive storms that preceded the 5 state midwest tornadoes.  We were driving just ahead of the tornadoes for a couple hours but endured heavy wind and rain during that time. Upon returning home, we noticed the bed was dry verifying these did their job.

That was the indication the design was ready to be sold. Next step was to patent it and start marketing. Now everyone can resolve the flaws on our RAM's.
